Holiday Inn Express Boston: Don't Judge it Based on its Exterior
During my last trip to Boston, I stayed in the Holiday Inn Express equiped with lodging discount codes. It was actually kind of funny, what happened as I was riding a taxi towards the inn. I was so excited to see this tall and very nice building that I thought was the inn, but was really the Marriott Courtyard. The Holiday Inn was actually the small building with the paint peeling off behind the nice-looking hotel.This inn really needs some new landscaping. Take out the dead trees and replace it with some new ones. The exterior of the inn also has to be repainted. Giving a good first impression is very important, and I did not get a good first impression of this inn. I actually thought that the price was cheap because it was so inexpensive, compared to other accommodations in the area.
But that was only until I entered the inn’s lobby. Inside, it was like a whole new inn. The interior of the place looked newly painted and was nicely decorated as well. The front desk hotel staff was very polite and fast-working. The lady processed my reservation and my Holiday Inn Express coupon within a short period of time, and then I was able to go to my room. My room was quite small, but the furnishings were attractive and everything was clean. The outside of the inn should have been this inviting. The room was complete with a comfy bed, good air conditioning, a clean bathroom, and all the usual hotel room amenities.
Holiday Inn Express Boston Has a Good Location
The next day, I ate breakfast in the hotel. The food was good, but nothing to write home about. I inquired about the nearby places to shop and eat with the motel front desk, and I found out that the location of this motel is actually very good. It is only 10 minutes away from the train station which can take you to anywhere you want in Boston.Also, there is a shopping center only a 5-minute walk away. They had a Target over there, so I was able to buy some soda and potato chips to enjoy while watching some late night television. I ate lunch in one of the nearby restaurants, and took the train around Boston during the afternoon. When I got back to my room, it was well-cleaned.
I will surely visit the Holiday Inn Express the next time I go to Boston. Hopefully, they would have made some improvements on the inn’s exterior by that time.
